2024 GLOWI Women of Influence Awards Luncheon presented by Grayson College

The 2024 Women of Influence Awards Luncheon, presented by Grayson College, is an all-new Denison Area Chamber of Commerce event for 2024. Designed to spotlight extraordinary women in Grayson County whose contributions consistently transform lives and transcend boundaries, these awards recognize the women we know, trust, and aspire to be. 

Our guest speaker is Dr. Michele Fowler, DO, FACOEP.  Dr. Fowler joined Texoma Medical Center as Chief Medical Officer in January of 2024. At that time, she assumed the role as a full-time administrator and medical officer. 
Dr. Fowler graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Oklahoma State University of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee. She did her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, completing her final year as Chief Resident. Dr. Fowler has worked as a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician throughout Oklahoma and Texas and has served as both a Medical Director and a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.
