COMMITTMENT REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of the Gold Coat Ambassadors shall be to serve as the public relations arm and official host of the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce and to enhance the image of and promote the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce. Listed below are the requirements for all Gold Coat Ambassadors. Please review these to ensure you will be able to fulfill the requirements of the organization if selected. *

I understand I must represent a business or organization that is a chamber member or be an individual member of the chamber. I will abide by the Standing Rules of the Denison Area Gold Coat Ambassadors. I will attend Ribbon Cuttings, Chamber mixers, luncheons and other special Chamber events and meetings. I understand that the Shoot for the Chamber Clay Shoot in April is mandatory for all ambassadors to help host and to work the event. I understand the Annual Gala and Awards are mandatory for Ambassadors to help host. I commit to call on and encourage both new and existing businesses to join the Chamber and participate in networking opportunities. I understand that Gold Coats will assigned to visit member businesses each month to thank them for the membership and to touch base and see if they need any assistance. I commit to wearing the Gold Coat Polo or Long Sleeve Gold Shirt with my Ambassador nametag to all ribbon cuttings and at the Clay Shoot. I understand expenses incurred in participating in official function of the organization are my responsibility.

Official Gold Coat Attire

The official attire for a Gold Coat Ambassador is the gold button-down shirt or gold polo provided to you. Upon acceptance, a member of the staff will contact you for ordering style and size.

I understand if I am chosen as a member of the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce Gold Coat Ambassadors, I am, at all times, to maintain a professional appearance and attitude when I am representing the Chamber to its membership and to the general public. Upon reading and understanding the requirements of the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce Gold Coat Ambassadors, I agree that I fulfill this commitment. I will give appropriate notice in the event that I need to apply for inactive status for a period of one year or notice of resignation to the organization's president. I further understand that by submitting my application it serves as my signature and commitment to the Gold Coat Ambassador Program.
